General

Face Swap AI is a mobile app that uses artificial intelligence to seamlessly swap faces in photos and videos. You can apply your own face — or any face — onto templates or custom media in seconds.
The app is available on iOS (iPhone / iPad) and Android. iOS requires arm64-capable devices running iOS 14 or later; Android requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later.
Your privacy is a top priority. Uploaded photos and videos are processed on our servers and deleted within 24 hours. Generated results in your history are stored only until you delete them or close your account. We never use your images to train AI models or sell them to third parties. You must be 18 years or older to use Face Swap AI. The app includes an age verification and consent screen that must be accepted before use.
The following uses are strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban: pornographic or sexual content, violence, harassment, deepfake abuse targeting real individuals without consent, and any other activity that violates our Terms of Service.

Features

Photo face swap replaces a face in a still image. Video face swap tracks and replaces a face across every frame of a video clip. Video processing takes longer and may consume more credits depending on duration and quality.
Result quality depends on the source photo/video quality, lighting consistency, and face angle. For best results: use a clear, front-facing, well-lit photo; avoid heavy filters or obstructions (glasses, hats); and try switching to a different AI model from the model selector.
Multi-face swap is supported in some templates. When selecting the source face, if multiple faces are detected you will be prompted to crop to a single face first, or to select which face to replace.
Results appear in your personal history (Profile Center → Mine). You can download or share them from the result screen. Downloaded files are saved to your device's photo library.

Photo Face Swap

  1. Open the app and tap Photo Face Swap on the Home screen.
  2. Browse or search for a template, or upload your own background image.
  3. Tap Select Face and choose a photo from your gallery or take one with the camera.
  4. If the photo contains multiple faces, crop it to a single face when prompted.
  5. Optionally select an AI model from the model list (each model produces different results).
  6. Tap Generate and wait for processing to complete.
  7. Preview the result, then tap Download or Share.

Video Face Swap

  1. Open the app and tap Video Face Swap on the Home screen.
  2. Select a video template or upload your own video (max duration and file size limits apply).
  3. Tap Select Face and provide a clear, front-facing photo.
  4. Confirm whether the video contains one person or multiple people.
  5. Tap Generate. Long videos are queued and results appear in your Personal Center when ready.
  6. Download or share the result from the result screen.
Tip: For the best video quality, use a source face photo taken under good lighting and without accessories blocking the face. The clearer the source face, the smoother the result.

Saving & Sharing Results

  • Tap Download on the result screen to save to your photo library.
  • Tap Share to share directly to other apps (social media, messaging, etc.).
  • Past results are always accessible from Profile Center → Mine. Results are stored for 24 hours only — download anything you want to keep.

Using Credits & VIP

  • Free users receive a limited number of daily free generations (watermarked).
  • Credits can be spent to unlock HD, watermark-free results.
  • VIP members receive daily credits, no ads, and priority processing.
  • Manage your subscription in Settings → Manage Subscription.

Generation & Processing Issues

  • Check your internet connection — a stable Wi-Fi connection is recommended for video processing.
  • Video face swaps are queued. Long videos may take several minutes. Check Personal Center → Mine for the result later.
  • If the task appears frozen for more than 10 minutes, tap Retry or restart the generation.
  • Force-close and reopen the app to clear any temporary state.
  • Ensure the file is a supported format: JPEG/PNG for images, MP4/MOV for videos.
  • Videos must not exceed the maximum duration (shown during selection) and the maximum file size.
  • Make sure the app has permission to access your photo library: go to Device Settings → Face Swap AI → Photos and allow access.
  • Use a clear, well-lit, front-facing photo where the full face is visible.
  • Avoid images where the face is partially cropped, at an extreme angle, obscured by sunglasses, masks, or heavy shadows.
  • Try a different photo with better visibility.
  • Switch to a different AI model in the model selector — some models perform better for certain face types or angles.
  • Use a higher-resolution source photo.
  • Ensure lighting in your source photo matches the template as closely as possible.

App & Account Issues

  • Update the app to the latest version via the App Store or Google Play.
  • Restart your device.
  • Free up storage space — the app requires available storage to process media.
  • If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app (your history syncs to your account).
History is tied to your account. Ensure you are signed in with the same account. Generated results are only stored for 24 hours — if not downloaded within that window, they are automatically deleted per our data retention policy. Generated results that are saved in-app persist until you delete them.
  • Grant photo library write permission: go to Device Settings → Face Swap AI → Photos and set to "Read & Write" (iOS) or allow media storage (Android).
  • Check that your device has sufficient storage space.
Accounts are banned for violating our Terms of Service (e.g., generating prohibited content). If you believe the ban was applied in error, contact our support team with your User ID (found in Settings → Help → User ID) and we will review your case.

Network & Performance

  • Check your internet connection and switch from cellular to Wi-Fi if possible.
  • Disable VPN if one is active — some VPN configurations block our servers.
  • Try again later if there is a temporary server outage.
